Strength & Conditioning Project
For this project I was able to create my own strength and conditioning program, based on what was best for the athletes I coach. I geared this program towards the female basketball players that I coach, and the exercises that will help them gain strength and stay injury free on the basketball court.
Dynamic Warm Up
For this project I developed a dynamic warm up that I use with the female basketball teams that I coach. It focuses on dynamically warming up the muscles, while focusing on movements and motions that the girls need to use when playing basketball. My teams incorporate this program into their warm up before every practice and game.
Risk Management Plan
For this project I was able to create a year long risk management plan from the perspective of an athletic director. I explored each season and what each sport needed in terms of coaches, athletes, facilities, schedules, and equipment. This project allowed me identify and analyze potential risks of an athletic department, and the best ways to decrease risk before it becomes a liability to the program.
Analysis of Shooting a Free Throw
This project allowed me to take an in depth look at the bio-mechanics that are involved in shooting a free throw. I was able to analyze and expand my knowledge of this technique and relate it to the various phases, muscle groups and movements that are involved.
